Dr. Christopher DiOrio is an esteemed medical professional known for his dedication to Obesity Medicine, Emergency, and Critical Care medicine. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he holds a strong bond with his community, which has fueled his passion for helping people live happy, well, and joyful lives. He attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate studies in biological sciences. After working in both a research and a clinical position, he chose “people” over research and then went on to medical school in California. He graduated from Western University of Health Sciences and did his arduous internship year at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/St Francis Hospitals Systems. Dr. DiOrio’s journey in the medical field has been marked by numerous achievements and a deep commitment to education. He has earned the respect of his peers and students, being honored as the “Teacher of the Year” at the Medical College of Georgia.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. DiOrio finds solace and adventure in the great outdoors. His love for skiing, running, and wake surfing reflects his adventurous spirit and determination to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. He is equally passionate about hiking and cherishes the beauty of the natural world.
