Having graduated from JWU with a business degree in 2002, I've accumulated 24 years of invaluable management experience. In 2014, I joined the Physician's Plan team, driven by a shared mission to help patients live a happier, healthier life. Dr. Christopher DiOrio is an esteemed medical professional known for his dedication to Obesity Medicine, Emergency, and Critical Care medicine. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he holds a strong bond with his community, which has fueled his passion for helping people live happy, well, and joyful lives. He attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate studies in biological sciences. After working in both a research and a clinical position, he chose “people” over research and then went on to medical school in California. He graduated from Western University of Health Sciences and did his arduous internship year at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/St Francis Hospitals Systems. Dr. DiOrio's journey in the medical field has been marked by numerous achievements and a deep commitment to education. He has earned the respect of his peers and students, being honored as the "Teacher of the Year" at the Medical College of Georgia.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. DiOrio finds solace and adventure in the great outdoors. His love for skiing, running, and wake surfing reflects his adventurous spirit and determination to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. He is equally passionate about hiking and cherishes the beauty of the natural world.

Dr. David Smith is a highly respected and accomplished physician from the picturesque city of Charleston, South Carolina. With a career spanning an impressive 46 years, Dr. Smith has made an indelible mark in the field of medicine, specializing in Obstetrics and gynecology, Hormone Replacement, and Weight Management. We are proud to have had him on our team for 18 years.

A proud alumnus of The Citadel, Dr. Smith's commitment to excellence was evident from the very beginning of his medical journey. He graduated from this esteemed institution with the skills and knowledge that would serve as the foundation for his exceptional medical career.

Outside of work, Dr. Smith's has been happily married to his beloved wife, Patty, for an incredible 50 years. Together, they have raised four children and have a lovable bulldog named Blu. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the golf course.

My name is Emily, I am the clinical director of Physician's Plan in Rock Hill. I have been with Physician's Plan for 2 years now, having the time of my life! I started my own weight loss journey just over 3 years ago and have lost over half my body weight. My personal experience with my own journey helps me tremendously in assisting our patients achieve their goals. Outside work I enjoy reading and spending time with all of my animals (and there's a lot...trust me!). My favorite service we offer is our Hydrafacial Deluxe and I love our SkinMedica HA5 to keep my skin looking fresh and vibrant.

Heather has been working with Physician's Plan for almost four years. She is skilled in operating 7 different types of lasers and is also a certified phlebotomist. Having experienced her own skincare issues and struggles with low self-esteem, Heather developed a keen interest in skincare and started learning about various treatments and products available. Her personal goal is to help every patient achieve their desired outcome. As a results-oriented aesthetician, Heather strives to accommodate each patient's lifestyle and expectations.

Jeffre is a Physician's Assistant originally from the quaint town of Mullins, SC. She completed her undergrad degree in Exercise Science from the College of Charleston and later attended PA school at Francis Marion University.

Jeffre is a true champion as she manages a house full of boys, with her husband and two sons, but she's happy to have her two girl dogs, Sunny and Annie. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, especially at the beach (while wearing sunscreen, of course), and spending quality time with her family.

Jeffre loves being a PA at Physician's Plan, working closely with patients to help them in their journey to a healthier version of themselves. She loves that she can help patients gain confidence and encourage them, whether that is through weight loss or aesthetics. Her favorite part about her job is seeing patients smile and glow when they reach their goals! You can find Jeffre at our Florence office, which she believes has the best staff and patients. With over 13 years of experience in medical spas, Kati specializes in skin rejuvenation and anti-aging treatments. She is extremely passionate about helping her clients achieve their skincare goals and takes great pride in meeting them one-on-one to build customized treatment plans with the best skincare products for optimal results. Kati's ultimate goal is to help her patients feel confident and good in their own skin.

Katie is originally from Wallingford, CT and lived there until attending PA school at Springfield College in MA. She finished school with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies as well as a minor in Nutrition. Katie was a varsity soccer player for 4 years and lucky enough to make it to the NCAA tournament 3 of those years!

After graduation, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she started working in the ER. After 10 years in Charlotte, she relocated with her husband and 2 sons (age 3.5 and 1) to Mount Pleasant in June 2023 to be closer to family. Katie still works in the ER and loves that she gets a lot of hands-on experience every day at work. Katie loves having a career where she feel like she gets to help people on a daily basis, whether it is treating an acute problem in the ER or helping a patient achieve weight loss goals in the clinic. She enjoys being able to get to know patients who come into the clinic and being able to personalize the care that they receive.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Joe, and sons, Owen and Callum. They enjoy taking their dogs Tinsley and Porter for walks, riding bikes, being outside, the beach, and a good restaurant patio. You can find them watching football or golf most weekends and rooting for the Bengals and Gamecocks (her husband’s Alma mater)! Katie also enjoys doing CrossFit and playing soccer in her free time.

From countryside Alabama to the beautiful beaches of South Carolina, Kelsey Stephens is bringing her knowledge and expertise of esthetics to Physicians Plan in Mount Pleasant. 

After graduating in the midst of the pandemic, she’s been able to further her education in certifications like microneedling, laser hair removal, and more! Consultations, facials, body treatments to lasers, this versatile esthetician provides advanced services to fit any client’s needs. Kelsey strives to implement her skills to aid in the beautification process of individuals struggling with skincare needs. Her goals are to continue creating personalized services, learning the latest innovations, and inspiring others with her passion for skincare!

Dr. Khanh Eagle grew up in Northern Virginia. Raised in a large family with hard working parents, she knew from an early age she wanted to help others. Dr. Eagle attended The University of Virginia, where she received her BS in Biochemistry, and The University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she received her doctorate degree. After residency, Dr. Eagle practiced primary care medicine in Florida while her husband, Dr. David Eagle, completed his Oncology/ Hematology Fellowship. Together they moved to the Lake Norman area in 2000 for its beautiful North Carolinian weather, friendly neighbors and appealing feel of community. In 2010, Dr. Eagle joined the Physicians Plan team in Huntersville. With amazing staff and supportive colleagues, she is dedicated to helping her patients live their best lives. Whether tailoring a healthy weight management program, counseling on psychosocial stressors, or educating about the aging process, Dr. Eagle strives to provide individualized care for each patient. Dr. Eagle believes in finding balance and beauty to achieve the healthiest and best versions of ourselves. When not practicing yoga on her mat, Dr. Eagle enjoys DIY projects, sewing, crafting, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.

With a personal journey of overcoming childhood obesity and losing 100 pounds in my late 20s, I understand the challenges and triumphs that come with weight loss and wellness. As the Clinical Director of a weight loss and wellness med spa, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health goals and discover their best selves.

My passion for weight loss and anti-aging treatments stems from my own transformative experience. I have been counseling individuals in the weight loss industry for years, guiding them on their own paths to wellness. With a talent for marketing and creating innovative promotions, I attract clients to our spa, ultimately helping more people on their journey to better health.

The Physician's Plan OG.  I was with Physician's Plan for 9-years prior to purchasing the company with Dr. DiOrio in 2005.  I moved to Charleston after graduating from Clemson with a degree in Biochemistry to pursue a future in the healthcare industry.  What I didn't realize then was my passion for teaching wellness through better lifestyle choices.  Motivating, coaching and helping patients change their lives one step at a time was always so rewarding and fulfilling.  I never dreamed that we would have the opportunity, trust and ability to do more and grow our company to seven centers with seven incredible teams that work relentlessly every day to fulfill our company mission and serve our patients.  Everyday is a gift and a blessing to be able to do what I love with the best people and the best patients.

When I'm not doing all things Physician's Plan, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 23 years and my three beautiful girls.  I love being a volleyball and a swimming mom, working in the yard, going for a run or enjoying the back porch.  I am grateful everyday for my family and my Physician's Plan family.

Leah is a Board-Certified Physician Associate with over 15 years of experience in Weight Loss and Aesthetic Medicine.

Leah is originally from Sherrills Ford, NC and attended Appalachian State University for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science Pre-Medical with Minors in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. She then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine for her Master of Medical Science degree in 2008 followed by her Doctor of Medical Science Degree from the University of Lynchburg in 2020.

Leah’s Doctoral Degree focused on preventative medicine, specifically evaluating time-restricted eating patterns for weight loss.

Leah is happily married to Matt with two girls Emerson and Saylor and Baby #3, a boy, due December 2023. She also has a Bernedoodle who is the friendliest, happiest pup around and playfully called Bodi Trout.

Leah started working at Physicians Plan in 2008 focusing on weight loss while furthering her training in aesthetics. She has been involved in weight loss since age five when her mother started a local fitness gym. “I knew fitness and nutrition would be my life from an early age.” Preventative Medicine has been the central focus of her medical career either through Primary Care or working with patients at Physicians Plan and she loves talking to patients about how small changes add up to profound health improvements.

In addition to weight loss, Leah has developed her aesthetic skills over the past 15 years including training for other injectors and her work can be seen on her professional Instagram account @The_Healthy_Injector.

“I wanted to create a page that my current patients could visit to see that not all aesthetic treatments have to look fake. I preferred natural results back when natural was not the norm, and I will continue to advocate for this within our specialty. Too many “trainers” over the years looked plastic, frozen, and over-filled and I decided to start teaching others more innovative ways to inject while maintaining facial balance.”

Hobbies are rare these days between clinic, training and kiddos, but when able she loves to read, wake surf, and workout, including teaching group fitness. Time away from work always involves her children as they are her greatest gift.

With over 2 decades of experience in the field, Leslie is a highly experienced medical massage therapist passionate about others healing and recovery. My purpose in life is to alleviate the pain and stress of those that I treat. This belief is what drives me to perfect my craft continuously.

With over thirty years of experience, Lois is an accomplished Physician Assistant who graduated from the Bowman Gray PA Program at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. 

She has been a part of Physicians Plan for the past 11 years and is currently based at the Huntersville office. Lois works alongside an amazing team of medical providers and staff. She considers it a privilege and a great pleasure to work with the patients at Physician’s Plan.

As a medical provider, Lois enjoys helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness. Her area of expertise lies in preventive medicine, and she enjoys collaborating with her patients to develop customized plans for healthier living. 

When she's not working, Lois enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, baking, and indulging in her love of chocolate and Acorn TV. She also loves her overconfident chihuahua named Bernie.

Meet Madison - Licensed Esthetician

With 3 years of hands-on experience in the world of skincare, Madison brings a passion for helping clients feel confident and radiant in their own skin. Now, she's taking the next step in her journey-diving into the world of medical aesthetics to expand her skills and offer even more advanced treatments. Madison is excited to combine her esthetic knowledge with medical-grade services and continue helping others glow from the inside out.

Dr. Marshall Scott Wise is a board-certified physician with specialty training in aesthetic medicine to include Botox and Dermal Fillers. A Charleston local, he was born in here in Charleston and raised on James Island. He attended First Baptist Church School and graduated from The University of Georgia. After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Wise became board certified in Family Medicine. He also received a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN and has practiced Emergency Medicine since 2015. Dr. Wise loves spending time with his wife and three children and enjoys fishing, boating and all things related to the beach and coastal waters.

Dr. Nailah Roland, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician from Staten Island, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree in Molecular: Cell Biology with a Minor in Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, St. Kitts, followed by her residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr. Roland has a passion for helping her patients achieve their best health outcomes and takes great pride in providing personalized care to each of her patients. She enjoys reading, traveling, and working on her husband Dwayne’s, food truck, NOLA's Stuffed Snoballs and Beignets, during her free time.

Outside of work, she has two pets, Jaxson, my 9-year-old 6lb Yorkie who has the personality of a king and is always by her side and Luna, a 15-month-old kitty, that has the energy of five cats and keeps Dr. Roland on my toes. We can’t not mention Jazmine, an 11yo Pit who had a heart of pure love, may she rest in peace.

One of her favorite quotes is from Eckhart Tolle, who said, "Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life." I believe that by staying present and focused, we can achieve our goals and live a fulfilling life.

Rachel was born in Denver, CO, then she moved to Conyers, GA, where she grew up. For the last six years, Rachel has lived in Belmont, NC. In 2010 she earned a bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College, and in 2013 she completed a Physician Assistant Program, earning a degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.

When Rachel is not working full time as the Lead PA in the Emergency room, she enjoys engaging in physical exercise with ISI, playing soccer, and traveling to the beach with my family.

Her passion is establishing meaningful relationships with patients and assisting them in their weight loss journey. Rachel finds it incredibly gratifying to witness the positive transformations that patients undergo daily. Her family is comprised of her husband, Matt, and their two boys, Bennett (4 years) and Carter (18 months). She also has a sweet 8-year-old Dachshund named Denver.

Dr. Sally Nicks is one of our amazing team members here at Physicians Plan and is passionate about helping patients live their best lives. With years of extensive experience in Rheumatology, Dr. Nick’s has become an expert in helping patients achieve their goals of losing weight, feeling better, and preventing chronic diseases. In 2017, she became board-certified in Obesity Medicine! When she's not at work, Dr. Nicks loves exploring new places, curling up with a good book, busting a move on the line dance floor, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sarah has been with Physician's Plan almost 9 years, and had amazing opportunities to grow in her role. From sharing in patients' success journeys to marketing and team support, she has the ability to cheer on all she comes in contact with. What an honor to come up with ways to support our team and educate patients as we all share in this crazy thing called life! Sarah studied Kinesiology at Liberty University back in the early 2000's and then married her husband in 2012. Together, they moved to South Carolina in 2014 and share the sweetest little girl, McKenna. For fun she enjoys sunshine, coffee, and DIY projects.

Hi, my name is Shaffney Beaver and I’m the Clinical Director of Physician’s Plan in Hickory, North Carolina. I have been with Physician’s Plan 13 years, and I have been a Certified Nutritional Counselor for 10 years.

The best part of my job is getting to know each of our patients on a one-to-one basis. Working with our weight loss patients in this setting gives me a unique opportunity to share the joy they feel as they reach their goals. Realizing that I provide this one-to-one experience to hundreds of patients means the rewards are endless! I don’t have a favorite spa service or Aesthetic service, because I love them all! I truly feel our services and products help men and women feel more confident about themselves and that is the best feeling.

Since graduating from the Aveda Institute of Esthetics in 2010, I have gained extensive knowledge in corrective and holistic skincare to share with you. I know just how important a lifelong investment in your skin is. Throughout my life, I’ve dealt with Acne, Eczema, and flares of allergic reactions. In search of solutions for myself, I found a passion and fascination with skin health. I have made it my career and long-term goal to understand the connection between our skin, hormones, lifestyle, and gut health to help you achieve your best skin.

Clinical Director of the Florence, SC location for 4 years but I have been with the Physician’s Plan team for a total of 6 years. I started off in this location as the clinical coordinator. I love working here, the patients and the company as a whole are great.
Favorite skin care product is Colorescience Flex in Deep. I use this daily! I love it because, I have never been big on makeup and the only makeup I use to wear was mascara. Using Flex is my makeup, it gives me a hint of color all while protecting my skin from the sun.

Favorite weight loss product is the GLP Tirzepatide. I was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) many years ago, and if you are familiar with that at all, weight loss can become a struggle. Our GLP was the first medication to help me lose pounds and inches around my waist. I lost a total of 30lbs and I feel so much better. It helped with controlling my appetite all while I learned how to change my eating habits.

I'm Tinsley Iselin PA-C, born and raised in lovely town of Camden, SC. I did my undergrad at Bates College and pursued my graduate studies at MUSC. In my downtime, I love catching live music, soaking up the great outdoors, and cherishing moments with my husband and three sons. Charleston is such a special place, as my mom is from here and I grew up spending summers with my grandparents on Sullivan’s Island.

As a PA, I've had the pleasure of working in various specialties, with urgent care being my main focus for almost 10 years. I've also had a soft spot for Endocrinology, which is why I'm thrilled about my current role at Physicians Plan.
