Winter Woman With Nice Skin

Are you looking for a remedy for your dry, itchy winter skin? No matter what skin care you use, there are several things to remember in order to effectively keep your winter skin soft and supple. Try these winter skin care tips to treat and prevent dry skin throughout the winter.

It’s not unusual to develop dry, itchy patches of skin during the winter months. The reduced levels of moisture in the air can make your skin look and feel dry and irritated.
Here are 5 simple tips that can help you prevent cold-winter damage from reacking havoc on your skin:
#1) Avoid using facial scrubs with strong abbrasives that can be great during the summer but too strong for the colder, dryer months
#2) Add a hydrating serum (such as hyaluronic acid) as a preliminary step before you put on your nightly moisturizer. Check out WEB MD’s overview on hyaluronic acid referenced as the “fountain of youth.”
#3) Professional treatments such as hydrating facials, microdermabrasion or peels to exfoliate the dry dead skin will bring back softer, smoother skin
#4) Get plenty of vitamin C, from foods and supplements to increase collagen production which helps plump up the surface under your skin.
#5) Water. Drink a minimum of 8 cups of water every day to help keep your skin hydrated.
