Meet Britney

Britney Crouch, Clinical Director
Florence, SC

Name one thing that people would find surprising about you?
A: I’m a HUGE football fan! No… I don’t paint my face with the team colors, sport my team’s jersey around town on game day, or let the loss of a game ruin my entire weekend… Ha! But I still consider myself a serious fan! Catching a good game with my husband makes my weekend.
If you could play any instrument, which would you play?
A: My pick would be the piano or guitar. All I need are lyrics and either one of these two instruments and it’s music to ears! My parents put me through lessons for both when I was younger, but back then I wasn’t interested in practicing. The only thing I was good at playing was the Kazoo! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed a great appreciation for music and instruments. And although I can’t play them, I love to listen to others who can. It’s such a great talent!
Name 1 thing you miss about being a kid.
A: There are several things you always miss about your childhood. I can say that I miss having that free time. I’m busy now, way too busy. So any free time that I get now, I try to take advantage of it and do absolutely NOTHING!
What is your favorite smell?
A: I love the fact that a smell can bring back vivid memories. I love the smell of cinnamon. It reminds of the fall and winter seasons. There’s a little a mountain store in Gatlinburg, Tennessee that has the best apple cider! Every time I smell cinnamon, it takes me there.
